There are some eight kilometres beaches in Moraira which have been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag status by the European Union for their cleanliness and unbeatable water quality as well as the services and activities available to the visitor.

El Portet
Guarded by the headland of Cap d’Or, the small but popular El Portet beach boasts fine sands and crystal-clear waters which made it a magnificent place for a quiet swim or an under-water exploration. There are restaurants, parking within walking distance and a short walk up to the iconic watchtower of Cap d’Or.

Cala Portitxol
A small rocky cove situated between the town of Moraira and the El Portet beach and close to the entrance to the Club Náutico, this isolated beach is perfect for diving and for fishing.

L’Ampolla Beach
This is the largest and busiest of the beaches in Moraira, a stretch of fine golden sand with all the facilities expected from such a popular area including restaurants, sun lounger and sun shade hire, children’s playground, pedalo hire and special facilities for disabled visitors.

Les Platgetes
These two small coves combine fine sand and rocky areas and are overlooked by an attractive promenade with gardens and a large car-park. There are restaurants, toilets and, during the summer, lifeguards and first aid assistance.

Cala de l’Andragó
This is another very popular beach which boasts deep waters which are ideal for scuba diving and fishing. There is an attractive viewpoint which dominates the cove and offers one of the most photographs views along this part of the coast. There is plenty of parking and a number of restaurants within walking distance.

Cala Cap Blanc
This is an isolated beach which offers a sense of tranquillity and showcases the beauty of the rocks which are pounded constantly by the waves. It offers unbeatable options for scuba diving, snorkelling and fishing as well as swimming and sunbathing.
